H is for Halloween!!!

On Thursday the 28th, we had our Halloween Party!!  The kids came dressed in their costumes and seemed to have a great time!!  We made mummy pizza's and witch's brew for snack.  Played pin the nose on the pumpkin and they were dressed in mummy attire where they found cool prizes with Heather.  And then after they each took a turn being covered in all of the TP and then jumping out to scare us!!  They decorated pumpkin cookies and helped Melissa do a little magic trick!!  It was such a fun party!!  Here are a few pictures from the day!!

J&J Field Trip

On October 21st our little Preschool group went over to J&J for a field trip!!  We learned all about plants and how to take care of them, got to feed some of the fish and just look at the others.  They each got a pumpkin and just looked around at all of the fun cool stuff they have.  Then we went over to the park nearby and had snack time and played for a little while.  It was a fun field trip and we are so thankful to Andrea for teaching us more about plants!!!
We had a couple extra boys with us, so Sawyer wasn't the only boy this time!!

A Prince and his Princesses...

What's Sawyer to do when he's the only boy in our little preschool group?  Why take those princesses for a ride and show them he's a strong handsome prince!!

A Day at the Park...

On Thursday October 7th we went over to Barnes Park in Kaysville to feed the ducks and to play at the park.  The weather was a little rainy when we left which is why we ended up going to Barnes park instead of Duck Ponds, however it was pretty nice the entire time we were there and didn't rain at all.  It was so funny to watch the kids feed the ducks.  They would eat one piece of the bread themselves and then feed the ducks one piece!!  These ducks aren't like the picky stuck-up ducks at Layton Park though, they were quacking so loud you would think they were never fed!!  And ten minutes after we were done feeding them, another group went over to feed them and they again were quacking so loud you would never guess we had just fed them!!
